Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to lead, train and supervise the housekeeping team across rooms and public areas. You will implement cleaning standards, monitor guest spaces, and collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in a luxury setting, knowledge of cleaning protocols and chemical handling, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as an Assistant Department Head.
• 5 years of Supervisory experience in a luxury resort or hotel.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling.
• Fluency in English both verbal and written.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping team including hiring, training and performance management.
• Develop and implement cleaning protocols to ensure top cleanliness.
• Create and manage housekeeping schedules to meet occupancy and events.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies within budget.
• Inspect public areas, guest rooms, and facilities to ensure standards.
• Collaborate with front office and engineering to handle guest requests and issues.
• Enforce safety and chemical handling procedures and train staff.
• Monitor department performance and cost controls.
• Participate in annual budgeting and revenue forecasting.
