The Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development seeks a highly qualified candidate to serve as Assistant Director of Fiscal Administration. This position reports to the Executive Director of Administrative Operations and will provide critical leadership in overseeing the office’s financial operations and ensuring sound fiscal management.
Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing budget development and forecasting processes, ensuring compliance with university policies and financial regulations, and reviewing and approving financial transactions.
The Assistant Director will play a vital role in supporting strategic decision‑making through accurate financial oversight and analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of financial management practices within a higher education environment.
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
