Job Summary
The Assistant Director of F&B/ PM MOD oversees, controls, and administers all Food & Beverage outlets, maintaining and exceeding property Brand Standards in each outlet. They also perform duties as Manager on Duty for the hotel.

- Ensure outstanding Guest Service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging guests, maintaining high standards, and demonstrating product knowledge.
- Achieve or exceed Guest Satisfaction Scores.
- Maintain positive relationships with all staff to foster a healthy work environment.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer service environment, meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Attend BEO, Staff, and Food & Beverage Meetings.
- Analyze operational reports, financial statements, and labor costs.
- Handle special projects for the General Manager and Food & Beverage Director.
- Plan and execute hotel-sponsored events.
- Taste food and beverages to ensure quality and consistency.
- Develop marketing ideas and promotions for the F&B department.
- Monitor POS systems and cashier procedures.
- Perform duties of associates as needed during busy times.
- Handle Manager on Duty responsibilities.
- Control customer flow and interaction between front and back-of-house during service.
- Ensure team members uphold brand standards and customer service quality.
- Address customer inquiries professionally.
- Maintain outlet scheduling and payroll.
- Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate updates.
- Coordinate with other departments, participate in marketing, menu creation, and competitive surveys.
- Monitor food quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring consistency and guest feedback.
- Maintain outlet profitability by controlling costs, managing inventory, and ensuring equipment maintenance.
- Support overall F&B operations, supervise other areas if needed, and handle special projects and promotions.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment, adhering to safety policies.
- Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures, including emergency protocols.
- Maintain a professional appearance as per standards.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of food outlet operations, including service techniques and guest interaction.
- Knowledge of liquor regulations and responsible service.
- Current Food Handler Card or in certification process.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
- Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to understand and apply product labeling instructions.
- Recall and promote menu items effectively.
- Operate beverage equipment.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in a similar hotel environment, with knowledge of F&B products and equipment, including OnQ/PEP systems. Some morning shifts required.

- Transport up to 30 lbs. frequently in a crowded environment.
- Lift a maximum of 30 lbs.
- Constant standing and walking, with frequent twisting, bending, reaching, and other physical activities.
