As Assistant Center Director, you will:

  • Oversee center operations and provide support as needed
  • Monitor supervision and child/staff ratios for compliance
  • Ensure standards of DHS, Keystone Stars, and NAEYC are upheld
  • Assist with classroom supervision, observations, performance reviews, and staff meetings
  • Manage daily staff scheduling, substitute coverage, and lesson planning
  • Provide classroom assistance when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services
  • 30 credit hours in relevant fields and 5 years of experience with children
  • 5 years of program and center management experience with various age groups
  • Financial management skills
  • Non-profit sector experience preferred
