Job summary

Unidine, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services I in Slingerlands, NY to assist with day-to-day operations at a high-volume location. You will lead a team, manage client relationships, and contribute to profitability and financial goals in your assigned area.

The role requires 1-3 years of food service management, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office; a preferred associate degree.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen.
• Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Associate’s degree is preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: As an Assistant Director of Dining Services I, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day food service operations of a medium to large volume location. You will manage and lead a team of associates, and will be responsible for talent development, managing client relationships, profitability, and supporting financial goals in an assigned area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
