Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Contract Administration to lead drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts across multiple agreements, ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.

The role supports development of contract strategies and administration processes, guiding internal stakeholders on contractual matters. The candidate will manage subcontracts, stay current on regulations, and contribute to process improvements for efficient contract

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in contracting including drafting, negotiating and supporting various contract types including commercial and federal.
  • Juris Doctorate or equivalent legal training is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFARS and healthcare-related contracting knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and execution of contracts (sales, purchase, service, partnerships).
  • Develop contract templates, standard terms, and best practices for contractual agreements.
  • Manage contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners to optimize terms and mitigate risk.

In the role of Assistant Director of Contract Administration, you will be responsible for supporting the development of contract strategies, contract administration processes, and providing guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters.

About The Position

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and execution of contracts, including sales agreements, purchase agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Develop contract templates, standard terms, and best practices for contractual agreements.
  • Contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners to achieve favorable terms while managing organizational risk.
  • Stay informed of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Resolving contractual disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
  • Contribute to process improvements to streamline contract management workflows.
  • Assist in the development, negotiation, modification, and administration of contracts and subcontracts.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure deliverables, milestones, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and records for audit readiness.
  • Perform reviews of subcontractor agreements and modifications.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding contractual requirements, compliance issues and identified risk.
  • Support audits and reviews.
  • Support business owners in proposal development and submission
  • Prepares Request for Proposals for distribution to subcontractors and reviews subcontract award agreements
  • Serve as the secondary Onspring GRC Administrator including (monitoring, app, workflow and dashboard configuration, implementation, deployment, etc.)
  • Manage direct report(s) as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Juris Doctorate (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree, required, from an accredited college or university preferably in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or Health- related field or equivalent.
  • 10+ years' experience in contracting including drafting, negotiating and supporting various types of contracts including commercial and federal.

  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with health care fraud and abuse laws including Stark, Anti-kickback and the False Claims Act, HIPAA, HITECH, and 42 CFR Part 2 Experience working in for a health plan or third-party medical payer.
  • Familiarity with GRC tools, Onspring.
