Job summary

Crest Home Health & Hospice in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, seeks an Assistant Clinical Director to join our compassionate clinical leadership team. You will support the Clinical Director, oversee home health services, and help ensure high-quality patient care while balancing leadership duties.

Ideal candidates hold an Idaho RN license (preferred), with 3–5 years in healthcare or home health and 2+ years in supervisory roles. You will lead, coach, and develop clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Clinical Director in overseeing home health services and ensuring quality patient care.
• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical and service personnel.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, evaluating, and developing staff.
• Support staffing decisions and coordinate personnel to meet patient and agency needs.
• Help ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Support coordination of patient care, referrals, and interdisciplinary services.
• Monitor patient and family needs and help ensure plans of care are appropriately implemented.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, patients, families, employees, and community partners.
• Investigate and report concerns related to patient care, safety, incidents, or unusual occurrences.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.

We’re looking for an experienced healthcare leader to join our team as an Assistant Clinical Director.The RoleThe Assistant Clinical Director is a key member of the clinical leadership team, supporting the Clinical Director and Administrator in the delivery of safe, high-quality home health services.This role combines clinical leadership, staff development, patient care, and operational support.
