The College is seeking a highly motivated assistant director of annual giving. Reporting to the executive director of annual giving, the assistant director will help develop and project manage multichannel annual giving campaigns in support of returning Colby to an alumni participation rate over 40%, and a $11M+ annual giving revenue goal. They will be deeply involved with the operations of the Colby Fund, serving as the primary point on the College’s social fundraising platform and as lead on data and segmentation strategy and execution. They will also have the opportunity to manage a small portfolio of annual giving prospects and work closely with volunteers on the Alumni Council’s Colby Fund Committee. Another key responsibility will be refining and then managing the Colby Fund Student Ambassador program.

Reporting to the executive director of annual giving, the assistant director of annual giving will have direct contact with various members of the Division of College Advancement, College Administration, families, and students, particularly those on the marketing and communications, donor relations, annual giving, and major/principal gifts teams.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
General open office and campus environment. Position involves sitting, although frequent movement is necessary. Computer usage involving repetitive hand/wrist motion is also necessary. Ability to move around campus and interact with faculty, staff, students, parents/alumni, and external constituencies regularly is crucial. Travel and work outside of normal business hours are required.
