  • Guide accepted students through enrollment decisions, deadlines, required documentation, and other next steps.
  • Proactively identify and address questions or concerns that may affect a student’s ability or decision to enroll.
  • Collaborate with Financial Aid, Records, and other departments to resolve student questions and support timely completion of enrollment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of student communications, follow-up activities, and enrollment progress in Slate or other applicable systems.
  • Review student progress regularly and prioritize outreach to ensure consistent engagement and follow-through.
  • Meet established expectations for student engagement, admissions activity, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Uphold ethical admissions practices and provide accurate, clear information to students and families.

  • Provide on-site coordination during events and respond to logistical issues and visitor needs.
  • Coordinate event communications, attendance records, and follow-up so participants receive timely admissions support.
Student Ambassador Supervision
  • Participate in the selection, onboarding, and training of NY Admissions student workers.
  • Schedule student workers and assign daily responsibilities, including campus tours, audition and event support, visitor assistance, and prospective-student calls.
  • Prepare student workers to provide accurate information and represent AMDA professionally.
  • Provide ongoing direction and feedback, address performance concerns, and review time records.
  • Ensure student worker coverage aligns with academic commitments, departmental needs, and approved budgets.
