Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for the Night Shift (12 hours) in New York. The role carries 24/7 responsibility for patient care on the unit, with administrative and managerial duties for nursing staff in a demanding hospital setting.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, at least 5 years of Medical/Surgical or clinical experience, supervisory experience, and a NYS RN license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient care to ensure alignment with hospital and nursing department policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state DOH, JCAHO, and accrediting agency standards.
