Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare seeks an experienced Nursing Manager to lead our regional operations in Franklin, TN. The role ensures alignment with state guidelines, NCCHC standards, and contracts while directing nurse managers and coordinating care across sites.

The ideal candidate holds ASN (BSN preferred), active RN licensure, and 3+ years in healthcare management. Travel up to 100% may be required; strong leadership and budget oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• 3+ years of healthcare management experience.
• Corrections, ER, public health or related background preferred.
• NCCHC board certification required within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification; hands-on training required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the organizational five-year plan for nursing care.
• Supervise Regional Nurse Managers and assess quality care delivery.
• Ensure care aligns with state guidelines and Scope of Practice.
• Interview and hire associates with equal employment opportunity.
• Coordinate care, set priorities, and direct work of Regional Nurse Managers.
• Implement, oversee, and communicate staffing plans.
• Review CQI, peer reviews, evaluations, LMS metrics.
• Design solutions for corrective actions to meet contracts and budgets.
• Deliver operational best practices and oversee onboarding of clients.
• Provide supervision and coaching of direct reports.
• Guide talent acquisition to select qualified associates.
• Evaluate associate performance through reviews and coaching.
• Identify learning needs and provide coaching for new hires and leaders.
• Liaise between headquarters, clients, and staff.
• Maintain professional licensure.
• Be available for 24/7 operational calls.

• Responsible for delivering the organizational five-year plan for nursing care.
• Supervise Regional Nurse Managers and direct reports and assess the delivery of quality care within our client sites.
• Ensure nursing associates provide care that aligns with the governing state guidelines and USA Medical & Psychological Staffing organizational Scope of Practice.
• Interview and hire associates, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion.

• Provide supervision and coaching of direct reports.
• Guide and assist the talent acquisition team to select qualified associates.
• Evaluate and verify associate performance through review of completed work assignments and quarterly coaching.
• Identify learning needs to ensure coaching and training is provided for new hires, associates, and potential leaders.
• Serves as liaison between headquarters team, clients, and staff.
• Acquire and maintain professional licensure.
• Remain available for 24/7 operational calls including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate commitment and dedication to providing clinical support and guidance in the development and deployment of initiatives designed to solve problems and make lives easier.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date strategic planning manual with continuity BUS plan and goals.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Registered Nurse licensure required in the state(s) where services are to be provided
• Associate's Degree of Nursing (ASN) required
• Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing (BSN) preferred
• 3+ years of healthcare management experience required
• Corrections, ER, public health or related experience preferred.
• NCCHC Board Certification required within 1 year of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on-training required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
