Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years in a data systems or international student and scholar services role.
  • Ability to work with individuals from varied backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of federal regulations affecting international students and scholars.
  • PDSO/DSO and RO/ARO status requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and integrate SUNAPSIS, build e-forms, and maintain data between SUNAPSIS and SEVIS.
  • Prepare immigration documents for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors.
  • Advise international students, scholars and employees on federal immigration regulations.
  • Coordinate with the Assistant Director, Data Management and Compliance to manage data and submit annual reports.
  • Serve as Designated School Official and Alternate Responsible Officer for UNL.
  • Develop website material and trainings to provide information to international students and scholars.
  • Collaborate with offices to meet the needs of international students and scholars.
