Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Adams School of Dentistry (ASOD) seeks an Assistant Director of Innovative Assessment and Success to lead assessment design, data collection, and standardized patient encounters across DDS, Dental Hygiene, and Graduate programs.

You will partner with Course Directors, support students through orientations to SPs, and coordinate curricular projects, including AI initiatives, Canvas onboarding, SharePoint hubs, and e-Learning trainings.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree required; 0-2 years’ experience accepted as substitution.
• Strong oral and written communication with faculty and staff.
• Experience in curriculum design, assessment, and SP programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and evaluation of assessment processes and SP encounters.
• Coordinate data collection, aggregation, and reporting for programs.
• Collaborate with course directors to integrate SPs into courses and improve outcomes.
