University of North Carolina Charlotte is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the Honors Bridge Program and advise options for students pursuing dual honors or honors in their field of study. You will collaborate with Honors College staff and program directors to create integrated advising pathways and coordinate national awards applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: earned Master's Degree in any discipline represented at UNC Charlotte.
• Graduate training spanning multiple disciplines and interdisciplinary project experience is preferred.
• Strong advising background with undergraduates in honors, interdisciplinary, or related programs.
• Proven ability to collaborate with university faculty and program directors.

Responsabilités

• Advise, onboard, and orient the incoming Honors Bridge Program (HBP) cohort; explain curricular requirements and plan accelerated timelines.
• Advise University Honors Program (UHP) students seeking dual honors or switches to honors in their field of study.
• Liaise between the Honors College and program directors; coordinate opportunities and pathways for honors across campus.
• Support Nationally Competitive Awards advising, guiding students through essays, statements, proposals, and interview prep.
