Job summary

University of the Pacific is seeking an Assistant Director, Fraternity & Sorority Life to supervise Greek Life and advise multiple councils. The role leads accreditation, risk management, programming and policy development in collaboration with Residential Life and campus partners.

The position supports strategic planning, vendor management, and student engagement activities, with typical hours Monday–Friday and occasional evenings or weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social science field, leadership education, higher education administration, student personnel, or related discipline.
• Two years of professional or graduate experience in student activities, fraternity and sorority affairs, leadership planning/development, or advising student groups in a higher education setting.
• One year of experience in budget preparation and oversight, staff supervision and leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, leadership and support to all Greek lettered organizations; evaluate and implement success strategies.
• Advise social and professional Greek organizations; mentor and develop leaders; coordinate with national offices and community partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with academic units; ensure compliance with educational programming.
• Oversee budgets with the unit Business Manager; monitor expenditures and policy adherence.
• Plan, coordinate and evaluate Greek programs, recruitment, retreats, and training activities.
