The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for the position of Manager 3, Reporting and Analytics. This role functions as the lead of the Informatics subsection of the GRC’s Research Section and as an Assistant Director of Research and Analytics. The GRC conducts applied health services and population health research in a project-based team setting. The Informatics section currently includes 12 researchers specializing in statistical methodology, data visualization, interactive dashboards, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The successful candidate will:
The candidate should have significant experience managing and leading teams in areas such as statistical methodology, data visualization, dashboards, and GIS. Relevant domains include survey sampling, small area estimation, statistical process control, probabilistic linkage, causal inference, and predictive modeling. Experience with interactive dashboards in R-Shiny and Tableau is also required.
Relevant domain experience includes population health, substance use disorder, maternal and infant health, Medicaid claims analysis, electronic health records, and healthcare quality improvement methods. The candidate should have strong expertise in R, with mentoring and teaching abilities, experience with Git, and familiarity with Tableau or similar software, SQL, and ArcGIS.
