Title: Assistant Director for Enrollment Operations

FLSA: Exempt

Hours: 40/week, 12-months

Position Reports to: Director for Enrollment Operations and/or Associate Vice President for Enrollment Operations

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Indirect Supervisory Responsibility: Director for Enrollment Operations and/or Associate Vice President for Enrollment Operations

Position Backup is: Director for Enrollment Operations and/or Associate Vice President for Enrollment Operations

  • Basic Function

The ideal candidate will contribute to the efficient use of technology within the University's Enrollment Management Division, Enrollment Operations Team, and the admissions processing center. They will oversee database-related projects (Ellucian Colleague/Liaison EMP) and office procedures/functions related to the NDMU Office of Undergraduate Admissions, including prospective student communication flows.

  • Essential Functions
  • Manage and maintain the undergraduate instance of Liaison EMP CRM system, including updates.
  • Assist with database-related cyclical, statistical, and data-critical projects and reporting for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Enrollment Operations.
  • Support external reporting such as IPEDS, MICUA/MHEC, NCAA, and other federal, state, and campus-wide reports and surveys.
  • Manage and update communication flows for undergraduate recruitment; process admissions letters and mailings as needed.
  • Troubleshoot CRM issues and serve as a point of contact for undergraduate system questions.
  • Participate in long-term technology projects as assigned.
  • Maintain operational policies, procedures, and practices for undergraduate admissions in line with industry best practices, laws, and university goals.
  • Serve as backup for enrollment operations representation on internal committees and workgroups.
  • Assist in vendor interactions for data transfers and platform setups (e.g., CAS, Common App, College Board).
  • Monitor data integrity through audits and clean-up projects.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2-3 years of experience with database systems, preferably in higher education admissions.
  • Experience with ERPs, CRMs (EMP preferred), and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in a college or university setting preferred.
  • Skills/Aptitude
  • Analytical, accurate, detail-oriented; able to learn admissions software at an expert level.
  • Strong database management skills.
  • Understanding of legal guidelines for confidential information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
