Summary of Job Duties

The Assistant Director (AD) for Conference Services leads the summer conference housing operations while supervising the Coordinator for Housing and Conferences Services. The Assistant Director for Conference Services & Off-Campus Apartments partners with student affairs and university departments to provide an exceptional conference experience for all conference guests. Assistant Director for Conference Services & Off-Campus Apartments partners with contracted off-campus apartments to promote off-campus housing options for returning, transfer and new students. The Assistant Director for Conference Services & Off-Campus Apartments will manage the off-campus apartments community website. Serves in the senior on-call duty rotation for the department. Other duties as assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least three years experience in Higher Education
  • At least two years supervision experience

Applicable equivalencies may be considered for the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least two years of full-time, post-masters higher education experience
