Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking an Assistant Director of Financial Aid (Financial Aid Manager I) in the James E. Rogers College of Law to lead the College’s financial aid student services and ensure regulatory and fiduciary compliance.

The role oversees awarding policies, needs analysis, and coordination with internal and external partners to serve about 500 law students. This leadership position requires initiative, professional judgment, and ongoing development in the law financial aid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the College of Law financial aid office, serving as the primary escalation point for complex financial aid matters.
• Lead planning, administration, and continuous evaluation of financial aid operations and policies.
• Oversee financial aid awarding, packaging, and compliance to ensure accuracy and equity.
• Develop educational programming and outreach related to financing a legal education for applicants and students.
