Job summary

Roseman University is seeking an Assistant Director of Financial Aid to guide medical students through funding decisions, debt planning, and compliance. You will lead counseling initiatives and help shape scalable financial aid processes as enrollment grows from 125 to about 400 students.

You will partner with Admissions and Student Affairs, deliver workshops, manage awarding and verification, and ensure adherence to federal regulations and best practices in medical education financial aid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in higher education financial aid.
• Experience advising students on financial literacy and debt management.
• Experience presenting to groups and leading workshops.
• Familiarity with federal student aid regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized financial aid counseling and debt management guidance.
• Oversee awarding, verification, and related operations.
• Deliver presentations and workshops on budgeting and borrowing.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and LCME/AAMC standards.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Student Affairs to support student success.
