Job summary

Georgetown University seeks an Assistant Director for Experiential Learning in Entrepreneurship at the McDonough School of Business. The role builds cocurricular programs to foster an entrepreneurial mindset across Georgetown students, aligning with the mission of entrepreneurship for the common good.

The Assistant Director oversees experiential learning opportunities, supports leadership, and ensures seamless program execution and community engagement across campuses in DC and for alumni

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-3 years events management experience and budget management.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising others; student intern management preferred.
• Analytical thinking and ability to refine best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of multiple entrepreneurship student clubs and programs.
• Create and implement programs focused on special interests (Entrepreneurship and Health, Sustainability, Venture Capital).
• Coordinate startup internship programs and living-learning communities.
• Organize speaker events and maintain a student engagement database.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support and budget updates to Georgetown Entrepreneurship.
