Strategic Government Resources, Inc. seeks an Environmental Health Manager to oversee the Environmental Health Division within the Health Department.

You will supervise staff, plan and administer environmental health programs, and coordinate with city stakeholders on incidents, inspections, and enforcement activities. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or related fields, a Professional Sanitarian License, a Texas Driver’s License (Class C), and preferred pesticide

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in natural sciences or subjects related to environmental health.
• Professional Sanitarian License required.
• Texas Driver’s License, Class C required.
• Certified non-commercial pesticide applicator license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and evaluate the Environmental Health Division operations and performance.
• Plan, develop, and administer specific Environmental Health programs.
• Provide supervision and technical assistance to Environmental Health staff.
• Act as a consultant to managers, contractors, and school officials on Environmental Health matters.
• Develop departmental budget in cooperation with the Health Director.
• Coordinate with other City Departments and stakeholders on environmental incidents and inspections.
• Oversee food service, childcare, swimming pool, and FOG inspection programs; vector control and stormwater programs.
• Develop strategic plans for improvements to Environmental Health programs.
• Ensure courteous and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Operate computers for word processing, email, and applicable software.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or related environmental health field

Professional Sanitarian License

Texas Driver’s License, Class C
