Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 5 years of administration and supervision in an early childhood program.
• Knowledge of Head Start and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with funders and regulators (Head Start, OSSE, DC CPS, NAEYC, grants).
• Oversee data management system at the site.
• Collaborate with service areas to provide a safe, healthy learning environment.
• Coordinate staff development, scheduling, and performance plans.
• Recruiting, hiring, and retention of ELC staff.
• Develop program plans with annual and long-range goals.
