Job summary

KinderCare in Appleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a capable assistant to support the Center Director in leading teaching staff, engaging families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.

You will partner with parents and community partners while performing varied center roles as needed, including teacher, cook, and driver. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or will be pursued.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume postures to ensure children's safety and engage in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff and supporting families.
• Support enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed (teacher, cook, driver).
