Job summary

2 For You Preschool in Des Moines is seeking an Assistant Director. The role requires a CDA or Associates in ECE and prior experience as a Lead Teacher, with a strong preference for managerial/leadership experience in a childcare setting.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, full-time, 7am-5pm or 8:30am-6pm. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, based on education and experience. We offer competitive pay, paid trainings, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with match, and childcare discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDA or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
• Previous experience as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with developing and executing an ongoing program of activities for children and staff.
• Assist the Director with enrollment activities, including tours and distribution of marketing materials.
• Ensure compliance with state and company regulations through Licensing Checks.
• Provide guidance to teachers on curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom organization.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and employees.
