The Goddard School of Houston (Jersey Village), TX is seeking an Assistant Director to help oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of education and care. You will support the Director, manage staff, engage families, maintain licensing compliance, and foster a warm community where children can grow and thrive.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education required.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership and classroom management.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the School
• Staff Management: Support recruitment, training, development and supervision of staff
• Curriculum and Program Development: Assist in implementing Wonder of Learning program to spark curiosity and growth
• Family and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families
• Health and Safety: Conduct safety drills, maintain emergency preparedness and licensing compliance
