Job summary

Huntey’s Clubhouse is seeking an Assistant Director to help oversee daily operations, support the teaching team, and ensure compliance with state regulations. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, reliable, and ready to grow as a leader.

You will manage student scheduling, enrollments, and lead development of age-appropriate activities, while fostering strong relationships with families and maintaining a positive, collaborative work culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA/AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in managing day-to-day operations, including staff supervision and enrollment.
• Support teachers with curriculum planning and classroom management.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and external partners.
• Ensure licensing standards are met and health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Participate in hiring, training, and mentoring staff to support professional growth and development.
• Step into classroom teaching roles to support staff and operations.
