Job summary

The role requires a master’s degree and RD/CDM certification, with experience in clinical nutrition or food service, and a track record in healthcare management and program improvement.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical nutrition or food service experience; healthcare management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required for RD eligibility; master’s degree required for new eligibility.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) by CDR or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM).

Responsibilities

• Maintain ACEND accreditation standards for the dietetic internship program, including intern records, complaints, curriculum and evaluation.
• Assist with operating, strategic and capital budgets; pursue cost savings initiatives.
• Provide education to interns with internal/external SMEs; document core competencies and learning activities.
• Develop policies and procedures for managing all components of the internship program.
• Coordinate education and orientation components; recruit, advise, evaluate and counsel interns.
• Plan staffing, hiring, orienting, evaluating and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Collaborate with the Director to meet program goals and accreditation standards.
• Ensure clinical nutrition, patient services and culinary areas follow regulatory standards; oversee performance improvement and data analysis.
