Job summary

South University seeks an Assistant Director of Didactic Education to oversee the didactic phase of the Physician Assistant Program. You will lead curriculum alignment with student learning outcomes and PA competencies, ensuring ARC-PA compliance and collaboration with other South PA programs.

The role includes faculty development, admissions involvement, and ongoing program evaluation, with opportunities to contribute to accreditation activities and scholarly work.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PA Program is required.
• Terminal degree as a physician assistant.
• Current or emeritus NCCPA certification is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility is required in the assigned state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate curriculum development with Didactic and Clinical Education Directors.
• Collaborate on didactic phase evaluation, assessment and improvement.
• Manage faculty coordination and allocate instructional workloads.
• Serve on the PA Department Curriculum Committee.
• Provide teaching and instruction across didactic courses and advise students.
