Job summary

Learning Care Group in Topeka, KS is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a safe, supportive school environment for children and families.

Under the supervision of the School Director, you will ensure compliance with licensing, promote children's development, recruit and retain staff, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. This role offers a structured schedule with a focus on children and families and opportunities for growth within our network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group's safety vision.
• In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
• The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Our Assistant Directors are accountable, responsible, creative, positive, team-oriented, and dedicated.
