Job summary

The College of Charleston invites applications for an Assistant Director of Career Success in the School of Business Student Success Center. This role provides career advising, workshops, and experiential learning support for students, including resume reviews and internship searches.

Under the Director, you will coordinate Walk-in hours, events, and data reporting, supporting AACSB accreditation. Occasional evenings, weekend work, and travel may be required. Salary range $39,300–$55,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in Education, Student Affairs, or related field.
• At least 2 years in career development or student services; experience with program planning and assessment.
• Experience using Handshake, Lightcast, and data reporting with FERPA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide career advising, resume/cover letter reviews, LinkedIn reviews, and interview prep.
• Manage front-line student support with walk-in and appointments.
• Deliver career-readiness workshops and classroom sessions.
• Support internship programs, learning agreements, and data tracking.
• Coordinate budget for the Summer Internship Award and other events.
