This position will oversee insurance follow-up, accounts receivable management, billing staff supervision, and compliance initiatives for an academic medical practice, and partners with clinical, finance, compliance, and IT teams to optimize medical billing operations and physician reimbursement.
This role is ideal for a healthcare professional with demonstrated experience in healthcare analytics, medical billing, accounts receivable management, coding compliance, and team leadership. Preferred qualifications include experience working with clearing houses, EPIC, and/or Expanse EMR. Demonstrated knowledge of CPT-4, ICD-10, HCPCS, and managed care guidelines. Credentials such as CPC, CHC, CCEP, or CPCO also preferred.
