Job summary

University of Colorado Colorado Springs seeks an Assistant Director of Assessment and Crisis to oversee neuropsychological testing, crisis interventions, and training across the Wellness Center Mental Health Services (WCMHS). The role will develop educational materials, supervise trainees, and expand assessment offerings while coordinating with Disability Services for accommodations.

Requires PhD or PsyD and eligibility for Colorado psychologist licensure within 3 months, with strong data-driven

Qualifications

• Must have experience with psychological, educational, and neuropsychological assessments (administration, report-writing and providing feedback)
• Experience supervising trainees in clinical settings
• Experience with risk assessment and crisis intervention strategies
• Experience creating and implementing processes for an organization or team
• Experience with common psychological disorders in college students and coursework/academic challenges
• Experience with short-term psychotherapy in individual, group, couple, and family formats

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute neuropsychological offerings at the WCMHS and create educational materials around testing
• Lead adaptation of offerings based on needs and manage annual budget for all assessment services
• Oversee online materials, equipment, and pen/paper assessments used
• Expand assessment services across all mental health services
• Provide training and supervision for trainees participating in testing services
• Collaborate with Disability Services to support accommodations and educate staff
• Develop and implement crisis/emergency plans and train staff
• Respond to crises and provide assessments and interventions as needed
• Develop data collection strategies and analyze outcomes to inform service decisions
• Provide individual, group, couple, and family psychotherapy as appropriate
• Make referrals and support cross-campus collaboration for services
• Coordinate supervision of graduate students and ensure effective processes
