Job summary

The University of Florida is seeking an AST DIR, Educ/Training Prgms to lead the ARNS Laboratory's strategic education, student engagement, and workforce development initiatives. The role focuses on advancing national security research and education through innovative programs and collaborations.

You will work with the Director and Associate Directors to expand partnerships with DoD, industry, and academia while guiding program initiatives and sponsor engagements.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in appropriate area of specialization with two years of relevant experience OR a bachelors degree with four years of experience.
• Military service or extensive DoD federal agency experience preferred.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams or complex operational programs preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build partnerships across academia, government and industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director and Associate Directors in developing and executing the strategic vision of the ARNS Laboratory through education, student engagement, workforce development and research initiatives.
• Participate in strategic planning for the ARNS Lab and help implement the strategic plan.
• Identify opportunities to expand ARNS partnerships across government, academia, and industry.
