The New York State Department of Financial Services seeks a senior operations leader to oversee the Article 44-B program. You will coordinate with divisions, manage staff and contractors, and align policy goals with systems, budgets, and internal controls.

You will guide technology partners with NYS ITS, maintain regulatory knowledge on frontier AI, and brief senior leadership on progress and risks. Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills are essential.

• Demonstrated project management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as project lead for operations workstreams related to Article 44-B, including transparency, reporting, and disclosure.
• Develops and implements plans related to systems, staffing, budget, internal controls, and other operations.
• Manages operations staff and oversees contractors responsible for implementing Article 44-B.
• Coordinates with the Assistant Policy Director to harmonize policy goals with systems and budgets.
• Coordinates with NYS ITS to oversee development and maintenance of technology systems for Article 44-B.
• Manages day-to-day relationships with other governmental authorities regarding operations.
• Maintains knowledge of frontier AI models and regulatory efforts.
• Briefs senior officials and the Superintendent as necessary.
