La Petite Academy in Florida seeks an Assistant Director to ensure safe, effective school operations alongside the School Director. In the Director's absence, you’ll assume sole responsibility and help promote children's social, physical, and intellectual growth.

You will lead a caring, educational environment, recruit and retain staff, and uphold licensing standards. The role features a supportive team, opportunities for training, and a path to leadership within Learning Care Group.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements
