Learning Care is seeking an Assistant Director to join our Elk Grove school. You will help ensure safe, effective operation alongside the School Director and step in during their absence to maintain quality care and education.

You will lead a caring team, promote growth, recruit staff, uphold licensing standards, and create a positive, engaging environment for children and families. We offer strong benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Pay: $24.18-$25.12
