Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee daily school operations in partnership with the School Director. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, quality programming, and ensuring compliance with licensing standards while supporting children’s growth and development.

In this role you will help create a caring, educational environment with team collaboration, recruit and retain qualified staff, and participate in community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Job Requirements:
