Job summary

Montessori Unlimited is hiring an Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, you will have sole responsibility and help promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

We seek candidates with leadership experience and at least 1 year in a licensed childcare setting, plus a High School diploma or equivalent, ready to uphold state requirements and drive a positive, collaborative learning

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Compensation/Benefit:

• Compensation $26.60 - $27.63 starting hourly rate salary on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
