Job summary

The Goddard School of Pearland (Shadow Creek Ranch), TX is seeking a motivated Assistant Director to help oversee daily school operations and uphold high standards of education and care. You will support the Director in staff management, licensing compliance, family engagement, and implementation of the Wonder of Learning program to spark curiosity and lifelong learning in children.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in early childhood education and a passion for guiding teachers and enriching

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership and classroom management.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine love for children and commitment to providing high-quality education.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state education/experience/credential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the School.
• Enrollment/Administration: Manage school tours and enrollment leads, along with billing and collections.
• Staff Management: Support the recruitment, training, development and supervision of staff.
• Curriculum and Program Development: Assist in the implementation of our proprietary Wonder of Learning program*, designed to spark curiosity, support individual growth and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
• Family and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families.
• Health and Safety: Conduct regular safety drills, maintain emergency preparedness and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment.

The Goddard School located at: 2151 Kingsley Drive Pearland, TX 77584 is looking for a motivated, self-starter for an Assistant Director position at our School! The Assistant Director will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and care.
