Job summary

Learn & Play in Lansdale, PA, is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Director for our long-trusted early childhood program.

You will support the Center Director, supervise staff, ensure DHS ratios, conduct tours, respond to families, and step into director duties during absences. A Bachelor's in ECE or related field is required; an Associate's degree is also considered with PA Keys Level B/C progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• At least 30 ECE credits.
• PA Keys Career Pathways Level B or higher; willing to pursue Level C or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in daily operations and staff supervision.
• Ensure appropriate classroom staffing per DHS ratios; step into classrooms as needed.
• Conduct tours and respond to parent inquiries.
• Assist with day-to-day problem-solving and emergency response.
• Communicate daily with families to build strong relationships.
• Step into Director responsibilities during absences or emergencies.
