The Goddard School in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Director to help oversee daily operations, support the Director, and foster high-quality education and care for children. This role focuses on staff management, licensing compliance, and community relationships within a supportive team environment.

You will contribute to our Wonder of Learning program, ensure safety standards, and engage families to promote a nurturing school culture.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education
• Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership and classroom management
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• A genuine love for children and commitment to high-quality education
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements

The Assistant Director will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and care. This role involves supporting the Director in managing staff, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements and fostering positive relationships with families and the community.

Assistant Director Key Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the School
