Job summary

La Petite Academy is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. The role focuses on fostering social, physical, and intellectual growth for children while maintaining a positive learning environment.

In the Director’s absence, you will assume full responsibility for the school, recruit and retain quality staff, and help ensure profitability. We value dedicated, team-oriented individuals who support families and communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Assist in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
