Job summary
A community support organization in Nebraska seeks an Assistant Direct Support Professional (ADSP) to train and assist individuals with developmental disabilities. Under the mentorship of a Direct Support Professional, the ADSP will provide support in daily living tasks and ensure the individuals' abilities and goals are nurtured. The ideal candidate is at least 16 years old, possesses strong interpersonal skills, and is capable of providing physical care. A $1000 new hire incentive is offered.
Qualifications
Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older.
Ability to accept directions and follow through with completion of assigned tasks.
Ability to work with individuals with special needs, including physical hygiene/care.
Responsibilities
Provide systematic training and customized supports based on individual needs.
Attend meetings to ensure training aligns with individual goals.
Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including cooking and cleaning.
