Job summary

Arcadia Care in Springfield, IL is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to partner with the Dietitian to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in line with applicable standards.

You will help with staffing, budgeting, and supervising daily activities to ensure high quality nutritional services, a clean, safe, and compliant dining operation, and excellent patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification.
• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Dietary Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, budget, organize, implement, evaluate, manage, and direct the Dietary Department, its programs, and activities in accordance with patient care plans, guidelines, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ensure staffing, supplies, and equipment are satisfactorily maintained and all documentation filed in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Job Summary

The Dietary Manager is responsible for partnering with the Dietitian to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided daily and that the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
