Job summary

The Rennes Group is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to support the Dietary Manager in supervising kitchen staff and ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met at our Wisconsin facility. This role requires hands-on food production, inventory control, and adherence to safety standards.

You will coordinate with the Dietitian and Director of Nursing on therapeutic diets, supervise staff performance, delegate tasks, and help with special catering events.

Responsibilities

• Supervises dietary staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Ability to perform duties of cooks and dietary aides.
• Delegates duties and responsibilities/assignments to competent individuals.
• Assists the Dietary Manager in planning, coordinating, and performing all special catering functions of the facility.
• Reviews therapeutic diets in collaboration with the Dietitian and Director of Nursing.
• Assists with food preparation and operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks.
• Prepares and maintains inventory list of foods and other dietary supplies for needed food/supply ordering purposes.
• Maintains accurate records and reports as requested by the Dietary Manager on a regular basis.
• Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food services.
• Performs Dietary Manager duties as assigned when Dietary Manager is unavailable to do so.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
