Job summary

NexCare Health in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to work with the dietitian and deliver quality nutritional services in a long-term care setting.

This full-time role offers $23.00–$26.00 per hour, with yearly increases, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical with no deductible, PTO, dental & vision, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, life insurance, 401k match, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in a food service department; experience in a long term or health care facility preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work with the dietitian to provide quality nutritional services.
• Ensure that appropriate levels of food supplies are available.
• Order supplies in a cost-effective and cost-efficient manner, as needed.
• Ensure equipment is maintained appropriately and, in conjunction with the Administrator, order replacement equipment, as necessary.
• Assist in developing & maintainingthe department budget.

How you will help people every day:
