Job summary
Btween, a leading kids’ lifestyle brand, seeks a Girls’ Assistant Designer to support the design team in product development from concept to sample. You will execute technical design details and ensure accuracy across sketches and BOMs, working closely with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment.
The role favors a detail-driven, Illustrator-savvy designer eager to grow in girlswear and kidswear design. 1–2 years of experience and strong communication skills are welcomed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Apparel or Fashion Design (or related experience).
- 1–2 years of design/product development experience (internships considered).
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop a plus.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong communication skills, collaborative and positive mindset.
- Adaptable under fast-paced work pressures.
Responsibilities
- Support design process from concept through development.
- Create/update tech packs and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Produce clean, accurate flat sketches; assist with graphics/prints when needed.
- Maintain data entry and track product changes.
- Problem-solve development issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Execute deadlines and respond positively to direction and feedback.
