Job summary

Carter's Inc. is seeking an Assistant Designer to support design development for our babies and children apparel lines. You’ll assist with line development, color palettes, line sheets, and design cards, ensuring details align with Carter's standards.

You will participate in fit sessions with the tech team, update design cards, and help edit product details through design reviews. A portfolio and eye for market trends are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel design or related field.
  • 0-3 years' experience in apparel design, children's clothing preferred.
  • Portfolio demonstrating ability to interpret market trends.

  • Support development of line: maintain color palettes and line sheets.
  • Edit product details during design review to ensure final merchandising.
  • Participate in fit process and manage fit changes with tech team.
