Salary Range: $123,793 - $155,224 per year (additional $4,000 downstate adjustment for eligible areas). Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Advise and confer with the unit head on mandates and projects.
• Manage and coordinate activities of supervised staff.
• Supervise and evaluate Financial Services Examiners and Trainees.
• Recommend legislative changes affecting the industry.
• Review and analyze examination reports and complex entities.
• Prepare supervisory memoranda and materials.
• Hold meetings with management and external counsel.
• Revise operational guidelines and procedures.
• Determine licensing actions for complex notifications.
• Ensure proper communication and follow-up regarding licensing activities.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, regulators, and licensees.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Represent the Department at conferences and meetings.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.

Qualifications
